Agricultural Feedstock

Sarnia Lambton has more than 500,000 acres under cultivation and is an Ontario leader in the production of soybeans. There is also extensive acreage of wheat and corn under cultivation. A portion of these bio-based sustainable agricutural products can be used in the production of bio-fuels and bio-chemicals. South Western Ontario Bioproducts Innovation Network (SOBIN) represents the local agricultural community and is dedicated to advancing new uses for bio-based feedstocks in the automotive, chemical, and energy industries.
